Hengameh S. Safaei, Esq.

Founding Partner and Principal Attorney

Ms. Safaei is co-founder of Proxy Law Firm. She is an experienced employment litigation attorney with extensive experience litigating single plaintiff and representative actions in both federal and state courts. Her practice centers on California wrongful terminations, discrimination, and wage and hour violations, including individual and representative claims for unpaid wages, unpaid overtime, worker misclassification, meal and rest break violations, unreimbursed work expenses, and unlawful wage statements.

Ms. Safaei fights passionately for individuals who have been unlawfully mistreated in the workplace, including those who have been wrongfully fired or demoted from their jobs, sexually harassed, retaliated, or discriminated against because of their sex, color, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected classification.

Prior to co-founding the Proxy Law Firm, Ms. Safaei practiced at a widely reputable international employment firm where she handled a broad range of labor and employment disputes and represented numerous small, mid-size, and publicly-traded companies in employment lawsuits including PAGA actions. A former defense attorney, Ms. Safaei is familiar with her opponents’ litigation strategies which she uses to effectively advocate and secure favorable judgments and settlements for her clients.

As a certified mediator, Ms. Nader has earned a reputation as a smart and skilled negotiator who is willing to take the time and effort to get the maximum results that her clients need and deserve. Ms. Nader strongly believes in the basic principle that all workers have the right to earn a livelihood without having to endure harassment, discrimination, intimidation, retaliation, or other unlawful pay practices at their place of employment. She is a sharp and dedicated lawyer and is determined to fight for justice for those who have suffered indignities in the workplace.

Ms. Nader is a passionate and skilled attorney with a proven track record of success for her clients. Prior to co-founding the Proxy Law Firm, Ms. Nader had her own solo practice which she opened after working many years at a prestigious international law firm where she successfully handled a wide variety of complex legal matters.
